Capsule Courses

On the glorious occasion of QCI’s 25th Anniversary and to support the “Make in India’’ Mission, a ‘Series of Capsule Courses’ with a catalogue of 25 courses have been launched by eQuest, Training and Capacity Building cell. More courses shall be curated to befit the individuals working in and across Supply chain.

Some of the courses in our catalogue have been developed for the schemes created by QCI and its constituent boards/project groups such as PADD, NABET, NABCB etc. while others are market driven courses, curated while keeping in mind the demands of the industry and everyone who wishes to avail these courses.

  • An Overview of ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for Product Certification Bodies
    The course covers various aspects of Understanding The Requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for Product Certification Bodies and will cover product certification, Fundamentals of Product Certification and Guidelines for Product Certification Schemes, Objectives of Product Certification, Terms and Definitions Relevant to Product Certification, Scope of ISO 17065, ad and Requirements of the Standard etc.

  • An Overview of ISO/IEC 17020:2012 for Inspection Bodies
    The course specifies the Conformity Assessment Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection and includes definition of Inspection, its objectives, its need, types, stages, methods etc.

  • Introduction to Industrial Biotechnology
    The course will cover the key enabling technologies that underpin biotechnology research including enzyme discovery and engineering, systems and synthetic biology and biochemical and process engineering. It will focus on wider issues involved in sustainable manufacturing including responsible research innovation and bioethics.

  • Introduction to Nanotechnology
    In this course, you will learn about some of the basics of nanofabrication and nanocharacterization techniques as well as specific applications of nanotechnology in commercial products.

  • An Overview on ICMED Scheme- Tools for Ushering Quality in Medical Device Industry
    The use of medical devices in the field of healthcare has become an integral part in many a treatment carried out by healthcare experts today. As such, these devices can bring the gift of life and normalcy to the patients, but in the case of any error, it can have fatal consequences as well. The need of the hour, then, is to ensure that a standard of quality is maintained throughout the production of such medical devices, and to ensure that overall citizen safety and patient satisfaction is achieved. Through the Quality Council of India’s scheme on ICMED and ICMED plus certification, developed in conjunction with the medical devices industry, the process and production of quality medical devices shall be ensured to create healthy and happy citizens the world over.

  • Environmental Damage Calculation & its Implications- An Overview
