International Projects
Training plays an
important role in developing a productive workforce and finely tuning processes
of any organization. The aim of the Training and Capacity Building Cell is to
create a critical mass of trained workforce at the national and international
level to improve the quality infrastructure of the countries.
QCI and its constituent
Boards have in the past organized training programs on various ISO Standards
for accreditation and certification for different stakeholders, both at
national and international levels. Some of the ISO Standards on which training
have been conducted in the past are listed below:

Many of these training
and capacity building programmes have been conducted for individuals as well as
organization level for different countries such as SAARC Member Countries
[Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka],
Mongolia, Mauritius, Ethiopia, Ghana, Qatar, Indonesia, Taiwan, USA, Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia etc. QCI and its constituent Boards have also been the Knowledge
Partners for conducting such training with International Development Agencies
such as UNIDO, FAO, PTB-Germany etc., and Regional Accreditation Bodies such as
PAC, APLAC etc.
Quality Council of India
has also facilitated technical assistance in the area of accreditation through
various training programs & capacity building to help establish a robust
accreditation infrastructure in Ghana, which is the process of establishing its
own Accreditation Body, in accordance with the ISO Standards and requirements
of international bodies, ILAC & IAF.
