Capacity Building of AERSSC Nepal, An Accreditation Body in Nepal

To reinstate the Accreditation Education Research & Scientific Service Center’s (AERSSC) APAC and ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) status in Nepal, TCB provided training and conducted a thorough system review in line with International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17011 and Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation/International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APAC/ILAC) requirements. With support from ILAC Joint Development Support Committee (JDSC) funding, TCB offered hands-on assistance to AERSSC, enhancing their systems and documentation to surpass international standards. Our collaborative efforts aimed to ensure AERSSC meets and exceeds the rigorous requirements set by APAC and ILAC for MRA reinstatement.
