Development of Guidelines on a unified approach for implementing CA Standards for SADC ​

Under the Southern African Developing Communities (SADC) Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP), supported by the European Union, TCB developed guidelines on a unified approach for implementing CA Standards by Member States. These guidelines aim to facilitate the mutual recognition and acceptance of conformity assessment results between trading partners across borders. The overall objective of this initiative was to enhance the transparency of conformity assessment regimes of the SADC Member States, thereby contributing to the growth of intra-regional trade.
