The Margdarshan Orientation Program, hosted by the QCI, successfully concluded with the completion of 9 batches, marking a significant milestone in its mission to equip recruits of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) with essential knowledge and skills. This flagship, month-long program has served as a strong foundation in critical areas such as administration, finance, scientific leadership, quality, and project management. Over its course, the initiative has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of public health research in India by empowering participants with the tools and insights needed to excel in their roles, foster innovation, and contribute to ICMR’s transformative initiatives while upholding the highest standards of excellence and integrity. The 9 batches of the program were conducted across multiple locations, including MRIIRS Faridabad (3 batches), NPC,Chennai (1 batch), IIT Hyderabad (1 batch), IIT Guwahati (1 batch), Pune (1 batch), BITS Pilani Goa (1 batch), and BMHRC,Bhopal (1 batch), training approximately 330 recruits in total. With the conclusion of these 9 successful batches, the Margdarshan Orientation Program stands as a vital step in strengthening India’s public health research ecosystem and cultivating a new generation of leaders committed to advancing national and global health priorities
