Capacity Building in Laboratory Quality Management Systems: ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Training Conducted at THSTI, Faridabad

A comprehensive two-day training program on “Laboratory System and Internal Audit as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017” was successfully conducted at Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad from 2nd to 3rd July 2025.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard, focusing on laboratory management systems, technical requirements, and internal auditing processes. The program provided both theoretical insights and practical approaches to implementing and auditing quality systems in testing and calibration laboratories.

The participants comprised professionals from various technical and research roles, including:Technical Officer – II, Project Research Scientist – II, Project Associate – I, Project Technical Support – III, Technical Manager.

The interactive sessions included detailed presentations, case studies, group exercises, and open discussions. The training was well-received by the participants, who actively engaged in the learning activities and expressed appreciation for the relevance and depth of the content covered.
