Anti-Doping Lab Qatar (ADLQ), a WADA-accredited laboratory serving the Middle East, West Asia, and beyond, is equipped with cutting-edge facilities for testing known dopants and their metabolites, as well as developing methods to detect novel doping agents.

As part of its commitment to excellence in quality management and laboratory practices, the following training programs were recently conducted for ADLQ:

  • ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management – Guidelines and Implementation in Laboratories for ADTL Qatar
  • Laboratory System & Internal Audit Training as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for ADTL Qatar
  • During 16th to 18th September 2024, the training conducted on Quality, Testing, Laboratory Management Systems, and Risk Management focused on upskilling ADLQ personnel and professionals in the key areas that equipped participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for maintaining high standards of laboratory operations and compliance with international quality benchmarks.
  • During 1st to 2nd December 2024, the training conducted on ‘ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – Risk Management Requirements & Implementation in Laboratories’, enhanced the skills of ADLQ personnel and professionals. This training focused on improving their understanding and implementation of risk management principles within the framework of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.
  • During 10th to 11th  December 2024, the training conducted on ‘Uncertainty of Measurement and Decision Rule as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017’, enhanced the skills of ADLQ personnel and professionals. This training was aimed at improving the understanding of measurement uncertainty and its application in decision-making processes within laboratories.
