Enhancing the Performance of Microbiological Laboratories with the support of UNICEF

UNICEF, India sponsored a 4-Day Residential Training-cum-Workshop for the Laboratory Officials under the National Jal Jeevan Mission (NJJM) at SPM-NIWAS, Kolkata on ‘Microbiological Testing for Drinking Water with a Gap Assessment & Action Plan’ for Infrastructure Development & Test Facilities across PAN India. The team of experts evaluated the laboratories’ data for the Gap Analysis to prepare the actionable plan for each state attending the training/ workshop based on the status of infrastructure & test facilities of laboratories for conducting Microbiological Testing in Drinking Water.
