International Projects

One of the TCB Cell’s objective revolves around fostering a substantial pool of trained professionals internationally as well, with the overarching goal of enhancing the quality infrastructure of participating countries. QCI and its constituent Boards have organized training programs on various ISO Standards for accreditation and certification for different stakeholders at international levels.

TCB has conducted many of these training and capacity building programs for individuals as well as organizations at different levels for various countries such as SAARC Member Countries [Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka], Mongolia, Mauritius, Ethiopia, Ghana, Qatar, Indonesia, Taiwan, USA, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, etc.

Additionally, TCB has served as knowledge partners, collaborating with International Development Agencies such as UNIDO, FAO, PTB-Germany, and Regional Accreditation Bodies such as APAC.

Moreover, Quality Council of India has facilitated technical assistance in the area of accreditation through various training programs and capacity building initiatives.

Strengthening Quality Assurance in DFTQC Regional Laboratories: ISO 17025 Capacity Building Project in Nepal

• In June 2022, a 5-day virtual training on ISO 17025:2017 was conducted for DFTQC regional laboratories’ staff. The training aimed to enhance understanding and implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements, attended by officials nominated by DFTQC and DPR, Nepal.
