QCI-CREDAI- Kochi: Empowering Construction Workers in Kochi

The collaboration between CREDAI and QCI continued with the impactful initiative, “Empowering Construction Workers through Refining Skills and Improving Quality of Life,” aiming to enhance the skills and welfare of construction workers in India. The latest three-day training program, held in Kochi from November 21-23, 2024, engaged over 300 workers from six prominent developers.

Participants received technical training in masonry, tiling, and bar bending, along with vital sessions on workplace safety, addiction awareness, and financial literacy. The program also facilitated access to welfare schemes such as E-Shram and ABHA cards through practical demonstrations. This initiative not only improved technical proficiency but also promoted socio-economic inclusion and well-being.

The Kochi program highlights QCI and CREDAI’s commitment to fostering sustainable growth in the construction sector by creating scalable training models that uplift workers while strengthening the industry.
