QCI- CREDAI- Training of Construction Workers

The collaboration between CREDAI and QCI culminated in the “Empowering Construction Workers through Refining Skills and Improving Quality of Life” project, aiming to uplift construction workers across India. The meticulously planned 3-day pilot program, held at Pragya II, GIFT City, Gandhinagar, engaged workers from Savvy and Shivalik Group in technical skill enhancement and welfare training sessions. Through this initiative, workers gained proficiency in masonry, carpentry, and bar bending, alongside access to government welfare schemes and financial literacy programs. The project not only empowered workers with essential skills but also streamlined access to welfare benefits, promoting socio-economic well-being. This pilot signifies a significant step towards sustainable development in the construction sector, fostering a harmonious work environment while enhancing the quality of life for workers and their families.
