Strengthening Quality Assurance in DFTQC Regional Laboratories: ISO 17025 Capacity Building Project in Nepal

• In June 2022, a 5-day virtual training on ISO 17025:2017 was conducted for DFTQC regional laboratories’ staff. The training aimed to enhance understanding and implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements, attended by officials nominated by DFTQC and DPR, Nepal.
• In July 2022, a 2-day onsite Internal Audit Training on ISO 19011:2018 for DFTQC regional laboratories’ officials was conducted to build capacity in conducting effective internal audits, essential for accreditation as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• In July 2022, a 3-day virtual training on Measurement Uncertainty and Decision Rule as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 aimed to enhance understanding of uncertainty of measurement and decision rules among participants nominated by DFTQC and Food Technology & Quality Control Office, Nepalgunj, Nepal.
• In June 2022, a 2-day virtual workshop on ISO/IEC17025: Risk Management requirements for Laboratories aimed to enhance understanding and implementation of risk management requirements in laboratories as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
