QCI- CREDAI- Training of Construction Workers

The collaboration between CREDAI and QCI culminated in the "Empowering Construction Workers through Refining Skills and Improving Quality of Life" project, aiming to uplift construction workers across India. The meticulously planned 3-day pilot program, held at Pragya II, GIFT City, Gandhinagar, engaged workers from Savvy and Shivalik Group in technical skill enhancement and welfare training sessions. Through this initiative, workers gained proficiency in masonry, carpentry, and bar bending, alongside access to government welfare schemes and financial literacy programs. The project not only empowered workers with essential skills but also streamlined access to welfare benefits, promoting socio-economic well-being. This pilot signifies a significant step towards sustainable development in the construction sector, fostering a harmonious work environment while enhancing the quality of life for workers and their families.

National Jal Jeevan Mission (Ministry of Jal Shakti)

TCB has played a fundamental role as the Key Resource Centre (KRC) of  the National Jal Jeevan Mission (NJJM), an ambitious undertaking by the Ministry of Jal Shakti. QCI is one of the empaneled Key Resource Centers (KRC) for training and capacity building at the Middle Management Level (L2) and Community Level (L3). As a KRC, QCI has been conducting the trainings PAN India and so far, we have conducted more than 70 training and trained more than 3000 DWSM officials, Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers, Water Utility Managers and Water Testing laboratory personnel from Public Health and Engineering Departments (PHEDs)/ Rural Water Supply (RWS) departments/ Public Works Departments (PWDs), etc. Our expertise and comprehensive approach have contributed significantly to the mission’s objectives, ensuring the sustainable and equitable supply of potable water across the nation.

Food and Safety Standards of India (FSSAI)

TCB extended support to FSSAI under ‘Rationalization of Standardization and Certification Agencies in the Country in the food sector’. A gap analysis was conducted for 12 AGMARK laboratories situated in Nagpur, Bhopal, Amritsar, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kanpur, Mumbai, and Rajkot. The recommendations were provided, and the final report has been submitted to FSSAI.
